I am working for The Indian Mariners since May 2021. I have enjoyed all the meetings conducted by the team leaders. The best part is the team leaders, they are very kind to all of us. They always listen to our problems & accordingly allot the work. I have gained insights on how I can be a good leader apart from all the technical growth.

My journey with The Indian Mariners has been magnificent. As a student, l thrive most on working in a team because it lets me learn a lot about management skills and also how to handle projects with proper time management. While working here, I also made good connections with my seniors, through them I was able to learn valuable skills. Till date, I have been proud that I am part of The Indian Mariners & no regrets past this point.

The learning part of my college life would be categorized into 2 phases, the first: pre-TIM, and the second; post-TIM. The first phase of my learning was mainly textbook-based, restricted to the exams, and had no practical knowledge as to how’d things fall in place onboard. The second phase of my learning is quite distinguished. I’ve learned a tonne of new concepts about the working of a ship, the trends that are about to follow in the shipping industry. These have given me immense knowledge and I have an edge over my colleagues which is quite helpful for me in the long run. Apart from this, the TIM team is quite responsive. Team members are ready to assist you at any given point of time. They’ve helped me several times in the past even at 01:00 a.m. I am extremely grateful for this. I’ll continue to serve this organization with the same enthusiasm and zest that I’ve now.

I am blessed to work as a part of TIM. The best part of this organization is the work culture. All the senior members as well fellow authors are really supportive and helpful, seniors here help us like guardians. For me, TIM is my second family. Talking about my personal growth- After joining TIM, I have turned into a very different person. And credit goes to Abhishek sir, who is not only helping me grow as a professional but as a good human with values and strength to live my life.
